At last you are here!

Just as the turnips finally make their appearance in chapter 3, Lavender Hill Farm has made its appearance in the world. I have a copy of the first edition - it is a lovely book, beautifully made. Laura deLind's illustrations are simply charming. Thanks to the advantages of the digital world, a mutually agreed correction was made overnight. My publisher tells me that the original uncorrected first edition will end up a valuable collector's item in years to come!
